Damon G. Krytzer has joined ORIX Corp. USA as managing director and co-head of investor solutions, while David DeMilt came aboard as managing director, investor solutions.
Mr. Krytzer will oversee client coverage and capital raising for the asset management business, alongside co-head Jordan Robinson, "working to expand the firm's network of strategic investment partnerships with institutional investors," said a Tuesday release.
Investor solutions now has two co-heads for the first time, a spokeswoman for ORIX said by email.
Based in Park City, Utah, Mr. Krytzer reports to Charlie Gilroy, chief operating officer, asset management.
In his role, Mr. DeMilt will "help grow the team's business development efforts and increase client and prospect engagement with the asset management platform," the release noted.
Mr. DeMilt's position is newly created, the spokeswoman added, as part of the expansion of its asset management business.
Based in New York, Mr. DeMilt reports jointly to Mr. Krytzer and Mr. Robinson.
Mr. Gilroy stated in the release that then new hirings come as the as the firm continues to "focus on expanding our asset management platform by growing our client base, increasing third party capital, and strengthening product connectivity."
Mr. Krytzer was formerly at Probitas Partners, an independent, global placement advisory firm focusing on alternative investment products, where he served as managing director and head of credit.
Mr. DeMilt was formerly at Oaktree Capital Management, where he served as managing director for marketing and client relations.
ORIX Corp. USA and its affiliated companies had $85.5 billion in assets, including $27.6 billion of assets under management, $47.3 billion in servicing and administration assets, and approximately $10.6 billion in proprietary assets, as of Dec. 31.
