Jordan Robinson was named to the new position of managing director and head of investor solutions within the asset management business of ORIX Corp. USA, a company spokeswoman confirmed in an email.
Mr. Robinson is responsible for overseeing the firm's capital-raising efforts within its asset management business, its business development and fundraising initiatives, and expanding its partnerships with institutional clients.
He is based in New York and reports to Charlie Gilroy, chief operating officer of ORIX USA's asset management business.
Mr. Robinson was senior partner, global syndication and LP communications at Fairview Capital Group. Christine Gabbianelli, a principal at Fairview, could not be immediately reached for additional information.
ORIX USA had a combined $83 billion in assets under management and administration as of June 30.
