The submission deadline for the Pensions & Investments WorldPensionSummit Excellence & Innovation Awards has been extended to July 3.
The awards — which form an integral part of the WorldPensionSummit in The Hague, Netherlands, taking place Oct. 10-12 — honor retirement plans and plan sponsors that are excelling in terms of their strategy, execution or delivery.
P&I will highlight and celebrate the pension funds or plan sponsors that are leading the charge. These awards aim to inspire organizations and honor innovators for their creative thinking and solutions.
The awards span three categories: investment, plan design and communication. Past winners were selected for their cutting-edge ideas and projects.
Entries may be self-nominated or by an external firm, and the awards are open to retirement plans and plan sponsors around the world. There is no fee to enter.
Winners and runners-up will be announced at the Excellence & Innovation Awards ceremony on Oct. 12. Approved nominations are invited to join the ceremony, with one free delegate pass provided per organization.

The awards take place during the 14th WorldPensionSummit, an annual conference developed for and by retirement professionals to offer a global learning and networking experience. The summit's theme for 2023 is Regenerating Sustainable Outcomes, and delegates will hear from retirement plan executives and global thought leaders on topics including geopolitical risk, asset allocation and participant engagement.
