But transatlantic-minded economic data junkies will be looking forward to U.S. and U.K. gross domestic product data drops.
The week ahead: Late March shower of GDP numbers
Economy
- U.S. new home sales numbers for February will be reported on March 25.
- On March 26, durable goods orders data for February will be released.
- Conference Board consumer confidence date for March comes out March 26.
- Crude oil inventories will be reported on March 27.
- U.S. gross domestic product numbers for the fourth quarter come out on March 28.
- Initial jobless claims will be released March 28.
Pension funds
- Illinois Municipal Fund board meets on March 29.
Europe
- U.K. fourth-quarter GDP will be announced on March 28.
Asia
- The IMAS Investment Conference & Masterclass 2024 will be held on March 27 in Singapore, where speakers including Chia Der Jiun, managing director of MAS; Guillaume Lesage, deputy CEO of Amundi; Neeraj Seth, an Asia-Pacific CIO of BlackRock; and Prakash Kannan, managing director and chief economist of GIC, will discuss key trends shaping the new investment environment.
