Andy Banducci was named senior vice president of retirement and compensation policy at the ERISA Industry Committee.
Mr. Banducci, who until May served as chief policy officer at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., started Monday. He replaces Aliya Robinson, whose last day at ERIC will be Sept. 22, according to an ERIC spokeswoman.
Ms. Robinson will join T. Rowe Price Group on Sept. 27 as a senior legal counsel in its legislative and regulatory affairs group. The position is new, and Ms. Robinson will lead the group's work on all retirement-related public policy issues, a T. Rowe Price spokeswoman said in an email.
"For more than two decades, Aliya has been one of the most respected and thoughtful voices on retirement savings issues in Washington," Bob Grohowski, head of the legislative and regulatory affairs group, said in a news release. "We are thrilled that she is going to bring that wealth of experience to T. Rowe Price as we continue our efforts to contribute to the many important public policy debates on retirement savings, both here in the U.S. and around the world."
At ERIC, Mr. Banducci will lead the organization's efforts to develop and advocate for retirement, compensation and paid leave public policies priorities for ERIC member companies at the federal, state and local levels.
Mr. Banducci previously served as the labor and pensions policy director for former Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., when he was chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
The PBGC appointed Ann Orr to replace Mr. Banducci as chief policy officer in June.
