Paulo Passoni joined venture capital and growth equity firm Valor Capital Group as a managing partner in a new position in which he is managing the firm's growth equity business, a spokesman said in an email.
Until 2022, Mr. Passoni was as a managing investment partner of SoftBank's $8 billion Latin America Fund. He was on garden leave until joining Valor earlier this month.
SoftBank executives could not be immediately reached for information on Mr. Passoni's replacement. However, according to its website, Alex Szapiro is a managing partner and head of Brazil, and Juan Franck, is a managing partner and head of Mexico for SoftBank's Latin America Fund.
