P&I appoints Kathie O'Donnell as ETF reporter

Kathie O'Donnell has joined Pensions & Investments as a reporter covering institutional use of exchange-traded funds.

Ms. O'Donnell joined P&I from Acuris, where she covered municipal bonds. Her work will be featured on P&I's new ETF portal, ETF Exchange, which debuted Nov. 1.

Accessible through a navigation tab on P&I's website, the ETF Exchange will offer analytics and ratings from Trackinsight as well as news and analysis from P&I reporters and industry experts.

Previously, Ms. O'Donnell covered mutual funds at Investment News, MarketWatch and Bloomberg. Her stories have appeared in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Boston Globe.

Ms. O'Donnell, who earned her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, holds a master's degree in journalism and public affairs from American University in Washington, D.C.
