Pablo Sosa was appointed head of portfolio investments of the NZ$60 billion ($42.2 billion) New Zealand Super Fund.
Mr. Sosa will lead the Auckland-based sovereign wealth fund's portfolio investments team, a major source of active returns for its portfolio, according to a New Zealand Super news release Tuesday.
He replaces George Crosby in that role. Mr. Crosby was named general manager, portfolio completion in June.
Mr. Sosa previously served as a portfolio manager on the portfolio investments team.
A search is underway to fill the vacancy, said a spokesman for the fund.
