Kevin Wong joined New Zealand Super Fund as senior investment strategist on the NZ$55 billion ($35.2 billion) Auckland-based sovereign wealth fund's asset allocation team, the fund announced Friday.
Mr. Wong replaces Chris Worthington, who joined JANA Investment Advisers, a leading Australian investment consulting firm in Melbourne, earlier this year in the newly created role of head of quantitative analysis and risk.
Mr. Wong comes to New Zealand Super from Australian Retirement Trust, a Brisbane-based superannuation fund with more than A$230 billion ($162.6 billion) in retirement assets, where he served as portfolio manager, dynamic asset allocation.
Information on plans to fill Mr. Wong's position at Australian Retirement Trust couldn't immediately be obtained.
