Tammi Fisher was named head of alternatives at Australia's Future Fund, the A$200.7 billion ($136.3 billion) Melbourne-based sovereign wealth fund.
Ms. Fisher replaces Ben Samild, who left that role at the end of 2021 to become deputy CIO, portfolio strategy, and more recently deputy CIO, portfolio construction.
Previously, Ms. Fisher served as the fund's director, private equity.
A Future Fund spokeswoman said there are no immediate plans to fill that director, private equity role.
The fund also named James Waldron to the new position of head of credit.
Mr. Waldron previously served as director, debt, but the spokeswoman said the fund's debt program "was transitioned into private markets and is now credit."
There are no immediate plans to fill Mr. Waldron's director of debt role, the spokeswoman said.
A Future Fund news release said Craig Dandurand, head of debt, left to pursue new opportunities.
