Yuba County, Marysville, Calif., hired Nationwide Financial as the single record keeper for its $29 million 457 plan, said Ned Taylor, senior consultant at Hyas Group, the plan's investment consultant.
The county issued an RFP in August for due diligence purposes and to consolidate to a single record keeper, Mr. Taylor said at the time.
The incumbent record keepers are Nationwide and Voya Financial, which provides services via the CalPERS 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan.
AIG Retirement Services and Empower Retirement were the other finalists, Mr. Taylor said. CalPERS/Voya did rebid for the services, he said.
