Worcester Regional Retirement System, Auburn, Mass., is searching for an investment consultant for the $800 million defined benefit plan.
The search is being conducted as part of the plan's due diligence to assess its options, said retirement system CEO Michael Sacco. There is currently no incumbent; most of the plan's money is managed by the $76 billion Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, Boston.
A copy of the RFP is available by contacting board administrator Colleen M. Canty via email. Proposals are due noon EDT March 30. A selection is expected to be made in April or May, Mr. Sacco said.
