Weymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is looking to allocate $30 million to $35 million to a passive S&P 500 index manager.
Fiducient Advisors, investment consultant to the $240 million defined benefit system, is assisting in the search.
The search is being conducted to comply with state procurement regulations, said Edward J. Masterson, retirement system director. RhumbLine Advisers is the current manager and is welcome to rebid.
The RFP is available on Fiducient Advisors' website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. EDT April 27. A timeline for selecting a manager has not yet been established, Mr. Masterson said.
