Weymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for an active international growth equity manager to run between $18 million and $25 million.
Proposals should have a large-cap bias. Fiducient Advisors, investment consultant to the $245 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
Documents from the retirement system show that its international growth and all-cap equity managers as of Dec. 31, 2019, were Harbor Capital Advisors, Invesco and Wasatch Global Investors. It could not be learned whether these managers' portfolios are up for rebid or if the board is looking to add to its international equities allocation.
The RFP is available on Fiducient's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT May 11. A selection date was not disclosed.
Edward J. Masterson, retirement system director, and Richard Carey, research analyst for Fiducient Advisors, could not be immediately reached for additional information.
