Weymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for an active international value equity manager to run between $20 million and $25 million.
The $290 million pension fund is seeking proposals from managers with active international value equity strategies that have a large-cap bias, according to an RFP on the website of investment consultant Fiducient Advisors, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose the name of the current manager, if any. Municipal pension funds in Massachusetts typically put services up for bid every seven years to comply with the requirements of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.
The RFP is available on Fiducient’s website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on March 27. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Edward Masterson, the pension fund’s director, could not be immediately reached for further information.
