Westminster, Colo., rehired Empower Retirement as record keeper for its $260 million 401(a) plan and $86 million 457 plan, according to an award notice posted on the BidNet Direct procurement website.
The city launched a search in January due to the pending expiration of Empower’s contract, according to the RFP posted on BidNet Direct’s website.
Finalist information was not provided. City officials could not be immediately reached for further information.
Empower will also continue to provide services for the city’s $28 million 401(h) retirement medical savings account.
