West Virginia State Treasurer's Office, Charleston, hired SageView Advisory Group as investment consultant for the state's $301 million 457 plan, said Alberta Kincaid, lead procurement officer for the state treasurer’s office, in an email.
The office issued an RFP in October for an investment consultant to provide investment monitoring services, quarterly and annual plan reviews, and other investment-related services for the plan. Incumbent consultant Segal Marco Advisors did rebid for the services. There were no finalist presentations, Ms. Kincaid said.
The 457 plan has 23 investment options and a self-directed brokerage option. Empower Retirement is the plan's record keeper.
