West Palm Beach (Fla.) Police Pension Fund hired Taurus Private Markets to run a $12 million private equity fund-of-funds portfolio.
The $382 million pension fund's board approved the hire at its Dec. 13 meeting, said John McCann, senior consultant at AndCo Consulting, the pension fund's investment consultant.
As of Sept. 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 2.2%.
