West Jordan, Utah, is searching for the first investment consultant for the city's $59 million 401(a) plan, $48 million 457 plan and $5 million 401(k) plan, said Joe Bryant, the city's purchasing manager.
The city has issued an RFP for a firm for the first time to provide services including the development of investment policies and advice regarding investment options.
MissionSquare Retirement is the record keeper for the 401(a) and 457 plans. The 401(k) plan is administered by the $43 billion Utah State Retirement Systems, Salt Lake City.
The RFP is posted on the state's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MST on Feb. 10. Mr. Bryant said the city's RFP processes typically end four to six weeks after it receives proposals.
