Weingarten Realty Investors, Houston, added an active international growth equity fund managed by Vanguard Group and an active domestic small-cap value equity fund managed by Janus Henderson Investors to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, the Vanguard International Growth Fund and Janus Henderson Small Cap Value Fund had $7 million and $2 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the company's 11-K filing Wednesday with the SEC.
A comparison of this year's and last year's 11-K filings shows the plan removed two similar funds from the lineup in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, 2019, the American Funds EuroPacific Fund, managed by Capital Group, and the Goldman Sachs Small Cap Value Fund, managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, had $5 million and $2 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The new 11-K filing did not provide reasons for the changes.
As of Dec. 31, the Savings and Investment Plan for Employees of Weingarten Realty Investors had $97 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
Company spokeswoman Meagan Froelich could not be immediately reached for further information.
