Wayne County Employees' Retirement System, Detroit, approved two new private equity commitments totaling $20 million.
The $1.1 billion pension fund's board approved commitments of $10 million each to secondary private equity fund Capital Dynamics Global Secondaries VI and private equity fund of funds Taurus Private Markets Fund II at its Aug. 29 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The pension fund's board also approved follow-on commitments of $10 million and $5 million, respectively, to value-added real estate funds Artemis Real Estate Partners Fund IV and TerraCap Partners V, managed by TerraCap Management.
WCERS originally committed $10 million and $7.5 million, respectively, to the funds in September 2021.
