Watertown (Mass). Contributory Retirement System is looking to allocate $30 million to $40 million to an active U.S. diversified large-cap core equities strategy.
Fiducient Advisors, investment consultant to the $270 million defined benefit plan, is assisting with the search.
Columbia Threadneedle Investments is the system's current domestic large-cap core equities manager, according to documents on its website. It could not be immediately learned whether Columbia Threadneedle's contract was up for bid or if the fund is seeking an additional manager.
The RFP is scheduled to be on Fiducient's website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. EDT Aug. 25. A selection date was not disclosed.
