Watertown (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System rehired Fiducient Advisors as investment consultant, said Barbara A. Sheehan, director of the pension fund.
The $278 million pension fund issued an RFP in January due to Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission regulations that require the services be put up for bid every seven years, Ms. Sheehan said at the time.
In a phone interview Thursday, Ms. Sheehan said the pension fund's board reviewed proposals at its meeting Tuesday and voted to eschew finalist presentations and rehire the incumbent consultant.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation was 30.8% domestic equities, 22.7% fixed income and cash equivalents, 17.8% international developed markets equities, 9.3% real estate, 7.7% hedge funds, 7.5% private equity and 4.2% emerging markets equities.
