Waste Management Inc., Houston, added the John Hancock Stable Value Return Trust, a collective investment trust managed by John Hancock Investment Management, as an investment option to its 401(k) plan.
The company to the lineup in January, according to its 11-K filing with the SEC Tuesday.
The fund replaces a stable value fund managed by Galliard Capital Management. A reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the Galliard stable value fund had $414 million in assets in the plan, according to the 11-K filing.
As of that same date, the Waste Management Retirement Savings Plan had $3.8 billion in assets.
