Waltham (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System rehired SEI Investments as discretionary manager of managers overseeing up to $250 million, said Andrew Malis, board director.
The $310 million pension fund issued an RFP in June to comply with requirements of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission to put services up for bid every seven years, Mr. Malis said at the time.
The other finalists were J.P. Morgan Asset Management and PNC Institutional Asset Management, he said Tuesday.
The pension fund invests the remainder of its assets in the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust, which is overseen by the $101.5 billion Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, Boston.
