Volusia County, DeLand, Fla., hired Retirement Plan Advisors as investment consultant for its $118 million 457 plan.
The county announced the hiring in a recommendation to award notice on its procurement website.
The county issued an RFP in October. According to a response in a Q&A on the procurement website, there was no consultant under contract at the time the RFP was issued. The previous consultant was Dahab Associates , which was invited to rebid. A total of eight firms responded, but no finalists were specified.
Rebecca Bishop, senior procurement analyst for the county, would not provide further information.
