Vancouver, Wash., hired Hyas Group as investment consultant for its $133 million 457 plan and $2 million 401(a) plan.
The city had issued an RFP in June for a consultant to provide ongoing evaluation of the plans' investment options, provide ongoing overall reviews of the plan and assist the city with any RFP processes for record keepers or investment manager, an RFP posted on the city's procurement website showed at the time.
The contract was awarded to Hyas on Oct. 4, according to an award notice posted on the city's procurement website.
The RFP did not disclose whether there was an incumbent investment consultant. The city in September transitioned to MissionSquare Retirement as the single record keeper for its plans.
Tracie Ramirez, city spokeswoman, could not be immediately reached for further information.
