Utah County, Provo, hired Voya Financial as record keeper of its 401(k) and 457 plans, said Robert Baxter, county purchasing manager, in an email.
The county issued an RFP in September after Empower Retirement announced plans to buy the record-keeping business of incumbent Prudential Financial. Prudential was a finalist along with Fidelity Investments.
The county's 401(k) and 457 plans have a combined $205 million in assets.
