University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, committed $7 million to Silver Point Specialty Credit Fund III for its $734 million endowment pool.
The university's investment subcommittee approved the commitment to the private credit fund managed by Silver Point Capital at its Oct. 19 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
Investment consultant Prime Buchholz assisted.
University spokeswoman Corinne Thompson could not be immediately reached for further information.
