University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, hired two equity managers to run $35 million for its $472 million endowment pool.
The university's investment subcommittee approved hiring Arrowstreet Capital to run $25 million in active global equities and RhumbLine Advisers to run $10 million in passive domestic large-cap equities at its Nov. 19 meeting, recently released minutes show.
The funding sources for the new portfolios were not provided.
University spokesman Jeffrey Wakefield could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
