University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, hired Prime Buchholz as investment consultant for its $764 million endowment pool, spokeswoman Erin Dickinson said in an email.
The university issued an RFP and incumbent consultant Cambridge Associates had been invited to participate, Ms. Dickinson said, while declining to provide further information.
Separately, the university made two new commitments totaling $15 million.
The investment subcommittee approved commitments of $7.5 million each to buyout fund Great Hill Equity Partners VIII, managed by Great Hill Partners, and buyout fund Thoma Bravo Fund XV at its Sept. 20 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
