University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, committed $3 million to TrueBridge Seed & Micro-VC Fund I for its $625 million endowment pool.
The university's investment subcommittee approved the commitment to the early stage venture capital fund managed by TrueBridge Capital Partners at its May 18 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
Investment consultant Cambridge Associates assisted.
University spokeswoman Erin Dickinson referred questions to the minutes.
