University of New Hampshire Foundation, Durham, is searching for an investment consultant for its $270 million endowment pool.
The university has issued a request for qualifications for a non-discretionary investment consultant as part of its routine services review cycle, said Erik E. Gross, senior executive director of university advancement and treasurer, UNH Foundation, in an email.
According to the RFQ, a selection committee will then determine a shortlist of the most highly qualified candidates and send those candidates an invitation-only RFP in June.
The RFQ does not disclose the name of the current consultant or whether the firm is eligible to rebid for the services. Mr. Gross would not provide the name of the firm, but he said the firm has been invited to rebid.
As of June 30, the actual allocation of the foundation's endowment pool was 48% global public equity, 18% flexible capital, 12% private equity, 10% real assets, 9% fixed income and 3% liquid capital, according to the most recent endowment report.
The RFQ is available on the university's procurement website. Registration is required. Qualifications are due at 5 p.m. EDT on April 28. Candidates on the shortlist will be sent an invitation-only RFP on June 5 with a due date of June 21. A final recommendation will be given to the university's board of directors Oct. 13.
