University of Nevada, Reno Foundation hired Cambridge Associates as non-discretionary investment consultant, said Betsy A. Brownfield, foundation purchasing officer.
The $268 million foundation had issued an RFP in August due to the pending expiration of incumbent consultant Wilshire Advisors' contract.
Wilshire was invited to rebid and was a finalist along with Callan, Graystone Consulting and NEPC.
As of June 30, the foundation's general endowment had an actual allocation of 43% global equity, 11.8% private equity, 10.1% real estate, 10% core fixed income, 7.4% high yield, 6.7% alternative debt, 6.2% real assets, and 4.8% merger arbitrage.
