University of Louisville, Louisville, Ky., hired Cammack Retirement Group as the first investment consultant for its $1.7 billion 403(b) plan and $53 million 457 plan, said Todd D. Kneale, the university's director of total rewards.
The university issued an RFP in August because it decided "we need (an investment consultant) to help us implement best practices and manage the plan in the best way possible for our participants," Mr. Kneale said at the time.
Aon Investments USA was the other finalist.
The plans' record keepers are Fidelity Investments and TIAA-CREF, and the plans share a lineup of 212 investment options.
