University of Houston System is searching for a defined contribution plan consultant for its 403(b) Optional Retirement Program.
The system is seeking a firm to provide services including investment consulting, participant education services, vendor management of the plans' four record keepers to include audits of their related costs and business process reviews, according to an RFP on the state of Texas' procurement website.
According to the university's website, the plan's current record keepers are AIG Retirement Services, Fidelity Investments, TIAA-CREF and Voya Financial.
The RFP does not disclose the plan's asset size, the name of the current consultant or whether the firm is eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. CDT on July 25. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
