University of Florida, Gainesville, hired Fidelity Investments as the sole record keeper for two 403(b) plans and a 401(a) plan, according to an intent to award notice on the university's procurement website.
The university issued an RFP in April for at least one record keeper for the $935 million University of Florida 403(b) Plan, the $333 million J. Hillis Miller Health Center 403(b) Plan and the $115 million University of Florida 401(a) FICA Alternative Plan.
Fidelity is one of the current record keepers for the 403(b) plans along with AIG Retirement Services, MetLife, TIAA-CREF and Voya Financial. AIG is the sole record keeper for the 401(a) plan.
Fidelity was also chosen as the sole record keeper for a $24 million Special Pay Plan, for which AIG is the current record keeper.
All the current record keepers were invited to rebid, said Lisa S. Deal, assistant vice president and chief procurement officer, in an April email.
According to the intent to award posting, AIG, TIAA and Voya rebid for the services. MetLife was not listed as a bidder.
Ms. Deal could not be immediately reached for further information.
