Travelers Cos., St. Paul, Minn., added two investment options to its 401(k) plan lineup in 2019.
The insurer added the American Funds EuroPacific Growth Fund, an active international equity fund managed by Capital Group, and the Vanguard Small-Cap Value Index Fund, a passive domestic small-cap value equity fund managed by Vanguard Group, according to an 11-K filing Tuesday with the SEC.
The funds had $171 million and $40 million in assets in the plan, respectively, as of Dec. 31, according to the filing.
The plan also removed two investment options during 2019: the Thornburg International Value Fund, an active international value equity fund managed by Thornburg Investment Management, and the PGIM QMA Small Cap Value Fund, an active domestic small-cap value equity fund.
Those funds had $136 million and $39 million in assets in the plan, respectively, as of Dec. 31, 2018, according to Travelers' prior 11-K filing.
The reason for the changes were not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the Travelers 401(k) Savings Plan had $7.4 billion in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
