Texas Permanent School Fund, Austin, committed $40 million to Warburg Pincus Asia Real Estate, confirmed B. Holland Timmins, CIO of the $40 billion fund, in an email.
The commitment is the PSF's first to Warburg Pincus, Mr. Timmins said.
The commitment to the firm's Asia-focused real estate fund came from PSF's roughly $3.4 billion real estate portfolio, Mr. Timmins confirmed.
