Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, disclosed a total of $133 million in commitments completed in August and September.
The $40.6 billion pension fund committed $50 million to Igneo North American Diversified Infrastructure Fund, an infrastructure fund managed by Igneo Infrastructure Partners, and €30 million ($33 million) to Crown Europe Small Buyouts VI, a buyout fund managed by LGT Capital Partners, according to an Oct. 24 emailed update.
Also, the pension fund made a follow-on commitment of $50 million to private credit fund Chambers Energy Capital Fund V. ERS had originally committed $75 million to the fund earlier this year.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund’s actual allocations to private equity, private infrastructure and private credit were 17.2%, 5.9% and 3.6%, respectively; their respective targets are 16%, 5% and 3%.
