Investment officers of the $33.9 billion Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed a total of $166 million to four managers in June according to a memo from the plan on Thursday.
The largest aggregate commitment in the month was $91 million to three managers in the system's private equity portfolio.
The largest allocation from the private equity portfolio was $77 million to Quantum Energy Partners VIII, followed by $13 million to co-investment CO20230426.
ERS investment officers also made a €1 million ($1 million) additional allocation to CO20190712. The previous allocation to the co-investment could not immediately be found.
By policy, ERS does not disclose its co-investment money managers or the strategies used.
ERS' actual allocation to private equity was 18.9% as of May 31. The fund's private equity target allocation is 16%, said a report on the ERS website.
Separately, ERS' investment team committed a total of $75 million to Ardian Infrastructure Fund VI, which is managed by Ardian Investment U.K., from the system's private infrastructure portfolio that had an actual allocation of 6.35% as of May 31 compared to the system's target allocation of 5%, an ERS document showed.
