Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed $75 million to Rockpoint Real Estate Fund VI, a value-added real estate fund managed by Rockpoint Group, a September transaction report showed.
The $28.7 billion pension fund previously committed $100 million to Rockpoint Real Estate Fund V in 2015.
Texas ERS' private real estate portfolio has about $3.1 billion in assets, or about 10.8% of the total fund.
