Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $50 million to Pamlico Capital VI.
The $49.7 billion pension fund disclosed the Jan. 31 commitment to the lower-middle-market buyout fund in a transaction update on its website.
TCDRS previously committed $50 million to Pamlico Capital V in 2020.
Separately, pension fund disclosed in the update it had invested an additional $150 million in Arbour Lane-TX, a customized direct lending separate account, managed by Arbour Lane Capital Management.
TCDRS previously invested $200 million in the account in 2018.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund’s actual allocations to private equity and direct lending were 26.2% and 14.2%, respectively; their respective targets are 25% and 16%.
