Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $75 million to Shine Capital III.
The $49.7 billion pension fund disclosed the March 4 commitment to the venture capital fund in an investment activity update on its website.
TCDRS previously committed $53 million to Shine Capital II in 2022.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund’s actual allocation to private equity was 26.2%; its target is 25%.
