Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $20 million to Threshold Ventures Select I.
The $40.7 billion pension fund completed the commitment to the venture capital fund on Wednesday, a transaction report on the system's website shows.
TCDRS previously committed $30 million to Threshold Ventures III in 2019.
As of Thursday, the pension fund has committed $1.7 billion to 28 private equity and venture capital funds run by 21 managers, according to the retirement system's 2021 transaction report.
In 2020, TCDRS committed a total of $2 billion to 32 private equity and venture capital funds from 25 managers, the transaction report for that year showed.
