Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $58 million to ShoreView Capital Partners V.
The $48.1 billion pension fund disclosed the Sept. 9 commitment to the buyout fund in an investment activity update on its website.
It is TCDRS’ first commitment to the manager.
As of June 30, the pension fund’s actual allocation to private equity was 26.8%; the target is 25%.
