Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $50 million to Juxtapose Ventures III.
The $41.8 billion pension fund completed the commitment to the venture capital fund on May 26, according to a transaction report on its website.
It is the pension fund's second commitment to a fund managed by Juxtapose, having committed $35 million to Juxtapose Ventures II in 2021.
As of Dec. 31, the most recent data available, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 27.8%; the target is 25%.
