Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, disclosed two private equity commitments in March totaling $185 million.
The $41.8 billion pension fund committed $110 million to Parthenon Investors VII, a growth-oriented private equity fund managed by Parthenon Capital, and $75 million to ZMC IV, a buyout fund managed by ZMC Advisors, according to a report of recent investment activity posted on its website.
The pension fund completed the commitments to the funds on March 14 and March 15, respectively.
The pension fund previously committed $80 million to Parthenon Investors VI and $75 million to ZMC III, both in 2019.
As of June 30, TCDRS had an actual allocation of 27.6% to private equity, above its 25% target.
