Tennessee State Treasurer's Office, Nashville, rehired Verus Advisory as general investment consultant for the $53.6 billion Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, Nashville, and the state's defined contribution plans and endowment funds, said Shelli King, spokeswoman for Tennessee state Treasurer David H. Lillard Jr., who oversees the plans, in an email.
The office issued an RFP in August due to the pending expiration of Verus' contract Nov. 30.
The other plans are the $3.9 billion Optional Retirement Plan, the state's $3.4 billion 401(k) plan, $650 million University of Tennessee 403(b) Plan, $644 million Tennessee Promise Scholarship Endowment Fund, $532 million 457 plan, $160 million TNStars College Savings 529 Program, $104 million Chairs of Excellence Endowment Trust and $16 million Achieving a Better Life Experience Plan.
