Taunton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for managers to run $20 million each in active international growth equities and active international value equities.
The $444 million pension fund issued RFPs to comply with the requirement by the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission that services must be put up for bid every seven years, said Paul Slivinski, executive director.
Current growth manager Vontobel Asset Management and current value manager Boston Partners are both eligible to rebid, he said.
The growth RFP and value RFP are both available on the website of investment consultant Dahab Associates, which is assisting with the searches. Proposals for both searches are due by 5 p.m. EST on Feb. 12. Selections will likely be made by the middle of the spring, Slivinski said.
